Terms of Service

1. What SpendCheck does

SpendCheck lets you upload PDF credit card statements, choose a Basic or Detailed analysis, and receive charts, categories, subscriptions, irregular expense flags, and AI-generated spending insights.

SpendCheck is an informational tool. It is not a bank, credit adviser, accountant, investment adviser, tax adviser, or financial planner. Results may be incomplete or inaccurate if a statement is unclear, formatted unusually, incomplete, or interpreted incorrectly by the AI system.

2. Your account

• You must provide accurate account information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
• You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to buy Credits.
• If you believe someone has accessed your account without permission, contact us immediately.

3. Uploaded statements and analysis results

You are responsible for the PDFs and information you upload. You should only upload statements that belong to you or that you are authorized to analyze.

By uploading PDFs, you give SpendCheck permission to process them solely to provide the requested analysis, operate the service, secure the service, and handle support requests. Raw PDF files are processed during analysis and are not intentionally stored by SpendCheck after the analysis completes. Extracted analysis results are saved to your account so you can view them later.

4. AI-generated output

SpendCheck uses third-party AI services to parse and summarize statement data. AI output can contain mistakes, omissions, or misclassifications. You should review results before relying on them and should not use SpendCheck as the sole basis for financial decisions.

5. Credits, pricing, vouchers, and payment

• Credits are used to run analyses. A Basic analysis costs 1 Credit. A Detailed analysis costs 2 Credits.
• 1 Credit is priced at $0.99 unless a discount, voucher, or promotional offer applies.
• Credit packs may be offered at discounted prices, such as 10 or 20 Credit packs.
• Credits are not a bank account, stored-value payment instrument, or currency. They have no cash value outside SpendCheck.
• Voucher codes may be limited to one use, one account, an expiry date, or a specific number of Credits.
• Card payments are processed by Stripe. SpendCheck does not store full card numbers.

6. Refunds and immediate analysis

Unused paid Credits can be refunded within the 14-day withdrawal window where required by consumer law and as described in the Refund Policy. Once you confirm an analysis, you ask SpendCheck to begin the digital service immediately and the required Credits are consumed. Used Credits are generally not refundable unless required by law or unless the analysis failed because of a SpendCheck technical issue. If a submitted PDF cannot be analyzed as a supported statement, SpendCheck may keep the paid analysis attempt open for limited replacement and retry attempts without charging additional Credits. Once those retry attempts are used, the paid attempt may end even if no full analysis is produced.

7. Acceptable use

• Do not upload documents you are not authorized to use.
• Do not attempt to bypass Credits, payments, account protections, rate limits, or security controls.
• Do not use SpendCheck to process unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• Do not reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or interfere with the service.

8. Availability and changes

SpendCheck may change, suspend, or discontinue features as the product develops. We try to keep the service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

9. Intellectual property

SpendCheck, the app design, text, logo, code, and related materials are owned by BEHvolve Technologies or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or reproduce the service except as allowed by these Terms or applicable law.

You keep your rights in your uploaded documents and personal data. SpendCheck only receives the limited rights needed to provide and improve the service, secure accounts, process payments, and provide support.

10. Disclaimers and liability

SpendCheck is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties that the service will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, or fit for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BEHvolve Technologies will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including mandatory consumer rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using SpendCheck at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk for the service, or use the app unlawfully.

12. Governing terms and consumer rights

These Terms do not limit mandatory rights you may have under consumer protection, data protection, or digital services laws. Where a mandatory law gives you stronger rights, that law applies.
